Web Browsers

WebBrowsers are computer programs that allow you to surf the World Wide Web. These programs are free to download for the OperatingSystem that runs your computer.

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is the most popular browser for Microsoft Windows XP. Download information can be found here.

Safari

The Safari browser is found within the Macintosh OperatingSystem. You will be up to date with this browser whenever you run Software Update on your Mac. This is the recommended browser to use on the Macintosh OperatingSystem for elearning.

Firefox

If you are security conscious, you may want to consider using Firefox on the pc. Firefox is a WebBrowser created by the proud folks at Mozilla. Read this article in Forbes magazine Better Browser Now the Best.

Netscape Communicator

Netscape is fast becoming a last choice after Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox. But, if you still want to use Netscape Communicator, you can download it here.

Opera

This browser is not frequently used by the mainstream public and not well-supported on various elearning sites.

Mozilla
