What is a weblog?

Weblogs are personal Internet journals. A blog is a diary or journal where the writer or “blogger” will write his or her observations on the world or provide links to useful websites. Different bloggers write about different themes, sort of like a newspaper columnist but with no specialized training necessary, which has made blogging the new way to communicate using the web. Everyone is blogging from students to grandparents.

A book to help you get started:

"The Weblog Handbook: Practical Advice on Creating and Maintaining Your Blog" (Rebecca Blood)
