Palm Phones

There is a new phone manufactured by Palm One, that gives you a powerful communication device in the palm of your hand. These new phones provide e-mail applications to the user and allow the user to have acess to multiple e-mail accounts, so they can stay in touch with the office, home and school. The Treo 650 wireless can access Cingular's voice service, Cingular's Xpress Mail service and an option to receive unlimited data transactions on the wireless phone. This service allows the user to receive e-mails from the employees corporate Microsoft Exchange Server as well as other POP3 e-mail accounts. A student at the University of Richmond would be able to have e-mails sent to their wireless phone over the Cingualr network and stay in touch with messages from professors and other classmates. Productivity is a major selling point to these phones. Professionals and students can always be connected to their e-mail accounts, can access the web and can send instant messages over the wireless network using one of these PalmPhones.

A description of the phone can also be found at palmone.com.
