As you will have noticed discussion boards are present with each online class. While some classes require active particpation on the discussion boards others do not. Take it from me the more you put into the discussion board the more you will get out of it.

My first semester was a tough one, and it had a lot to do with my lack of discussion board participation. The discussion boards are a great way to get to know your fellow classmates, and learn from their knowledge and experiences. They also can come in hand at test and grade times.

Make sure you use your time wisely, utilize good TimeManagement principles and take an active role in the discussions along with your classmates. These discussions are good building blocks for the open communication you will need to advance your career once in the real world.
