Disks
Using CDs and DVDs to move data requires three items: blank media, CD/DVD burning software and the time required for the disk to complete the creation cycle.
Flashdrives
Flashdrives are becoming more and more common in faculty bags, pockets and on key rings. Small and easy to carry, these drives are available in sizes up to 16 gigabytes.
External Hard Drives
External hard drives come in several varieties: firewire, USB or both; powered via connection with computer or powered via external power source.
