This style guide is applicable to all original emergency management and disaster science research submitted for consideration for publication in either of the Internet publications, The Electronic Journal of Disaster Science or Notes on the Science of Extreme Situations. Because the intent is that all student work in courses in the Emergency Services Management program at the University of Richmond be possibly publishable in one of these two peer reviewed journals, it also serves as the style guide for all undergraduate and graduate research papers in courses in the program.
