The audio/video cabinet located behind the instructor's computer desk houses a VCR unit with both a DVD and video tape player.

To play a video in class:
1. Place the DVD or VHS tape into the appropriate tray/slot of the VCR. This should turn the unit on and begin playback.
2. The VCR sends information to the overhead projector through the Video input. To set, select the Video button on the top right of the projector remote until you see the text "DETECTING... VIDEO" appear in the display. For more detail, please visit our page on how to use the overhead projector.

3. Make certain the audio system is on by checking the component to the left of the VCR unit. If the red light is not on, toggle the power switch to the opposite position (see image below).

4. Audio is played through the overhead projector. To control volume, please visit our page on how to use the overhead projector.
