1. Set laptop on instructor's desk near the Digital Presenter.
2. On the back of the digital presenter, locate the cable attached to the video output port.
3. Connect other end of VGA cable to your laptop's VGA output port.
- Note: If you are using an Apple laptop, you will need to connect the VGA to DVI converter cable.
4. Turn on laptop. You may need to switch display output of your laptop to include both screen and external display.

- For IBM laptops, the combination keystroke is FN (key normally found on bottom left of keyboard) + F12 to toggle between:
- Attached screen display only
- Attached screen and external display combination
- External display only
5. Turn on Digital Presenter and set overhead projector to project the Digital Presenter display (please refer to the documentation on
presenting with the Digital Presenter for more information).
6. On the Digital Presenter's console controls, depress the display control and hold until laptop screen displays through the overhead projector.
