Madison Digital Image Database (MDID)
MDID is a database system that allows you to organize photos for use in teaching. Sarah Falls, the Visual Resources Librarian, has created a
website that details how to access the database. She also includes both faculty and student guides. Currently there are over 3,000 images in the MDID database that faculty in the art and art history departments are using with their students.
Php BB
Php BB is a discussion board system that allows you to include people outside of the University of Richmond. This can be a closed discussion board or one that is open to the world. It also allows for avatars and RSS feeds per board.

twiki is a wiki website that allows people to register and post content and share files. Perhaps the best example of a working wiki is the
Wikipedia with over one million articles in the English version contributed by people all over the world.
