Course will cover aspects of instructional technology, instructional design models, and online learning, including needs assessment, task analysis, and writing effective learning objectives. Students will analyze and apply various learning theories to instructional technology case studies and real world examples. Students will learn how technology can be used in teaching and learning and will utilize web 2.0 technologies such as blogs, wikis, and the course management system Moodle.
